OUR BEGINNERS MMA CLASSES WILL TAKE YOU STEP BY STEP THROUGH ALL THE CORE SKILLS OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

If you’ve always wanted to try MMA then we have the perfect way to get started, our classes are designed to take you step by step through the core elements of Mixed Martial Arts amongst other beginners.

Most people are very apprehensive about getting started in Mixed Martial Arts as it’s very hard to know what to expect. One of the main objectives of our classes is to help new members feel comfortable getting involved. Very quickly you will see that you are amongst friends and in an atmosphere designed to help everyone thrive. We don’t expect you to know anything about MMA and we don’t expect you to be fit, if you can make it to your first class then we can help you with the rest!

Getting Started Is Easy!

We make it very simple for you to get started, you just need to register on our app and then book onto one of the upcoming MMA classes for a trial.

Once you’re booked on there’s nothing else to do! Just turn up at the session that you’ve chosen and we’ll be expecting you!

Register on our app

Follow the link and register for an account with our app for free. 

Book a trial class

Go to the ‘Events‘ section of the app and book on to any of the upcoming classes using the app at a day and time that suits you. Trial classes are £10.

Complete your first class!

Just turn up on the time and day you’ve chosen and we will help you get through your first session.
You will only be required to complete the first hour of the class, you will not attend the sparring section of the class. 
After your first session we’ll talk you through your options for continuing your training with us.

What will I LEarn?

Mixed Martial Arts is a highly technical sport and the way you are introduced to these skills over your first few months are absolutely crucial.

With the Beginners Course, you’ll be amazed at how many incredible skills we cover in the time we have you. We really make sure that you cover all the fundamental elements of Mixed Martial Arts so that you finish the course feeling skilled and confident in every area of MMA.

Standing Striking

Learn the fundamentals of striking for Mixed Martial Arts. During the beginners course we will progressively teach all the basics of striking, how to position and hold yourself, how to punch and kick, how to defend and counter attack and much more.

Wrestling & Takedowns

Learn how to wrestle for Mixed Martial Arts. During the beginners course we will progressively teach you how to control and tie up someone from a standing position, how to defend and achieve take downs, how to strike from a clinch position and more.

GRAPPLING & GROUNDWORK

Learn the fundamental skills of grappling and submissions for MMA. There’s a lot to learn on the ground but we will take you step by step through all the core elements. We will teach you how to control and escape key positions, how to strike on the ground, how to submit your opponent and much more.

The beginners classes are a great way to learn MMA. As a beginner to martial arts the encouragement, experience and support the coaches give you is second to none and I look forward to training with them for many years to come!
